TimberTech was recommeded by a landscapper friend and they've done good work for me. One messy tree removal after the Dec. 05 storm.

I've used Jackie from Schneider before they bought her out (I think that's how it went).

If there is ever anything else you need,We'd really appreciate your business.I know Jackie well...She's kind of a luscious little tree woman:D ....Schneider and I went in together, and he was gonna buy me out.He and I agreed on a percentage off of the jobs I would be turning over to him, plus I was gonna be getting paid for working for them as well.At the time,I had my chipper,my chipper truck..My F-450 dump truck and my New Holland....He wasn't interested in any of my equipment, but during the month that this lasted,I won't disclose the dollar amount on some of the jobs I gave them, but it was signifigant...And I never got a dime from them...All they were interested in was working my ass to the bone every day, taking my work, and I got nothing in return..I left quick, fast and in a hurry.I don't like the way they operate, and I don't like some of the rediculous prices they charge for their work...I didn't pass any words with them,I left on good terms...I'm not sure who owns Timbertech, but they must have either had someone with alot of money behind them,or they are in a tremendous amount of debt...They just popped up out of the woodwork, and they have some of the nicest trucks, and some big chippers...You just don't start off with that kind of equipment..Either they will do well,or they will be gone in two or three years.....Schneider wants you to think they are the only tree service in the upstate......When I started,he wasn't even around...Scott Emery of Emery's tree service and I started in the business at about the same time..Long before Schneider came.

Very interesting!

TimberTech has done 2 decent sized jobs for me. (Good size for a homeowner removal). Their estimator/ramrod was always curteous and always did what they said they would do. They let me borrow their spliter for free. I busted a hose on it and offered to pay. They said "No way, it happens". I really didn't abuse so I hauled it back and all was cool.

After the Dec. 05 ice storm, I had a tree that got into my roof, but really didn't do lots of damage. TT told me where I was on the priority list (since I had a dry home, I wasn't understandably at the top) and they got to me a day or two earlier than anticipated. Their ground cleanup was better than anyone I've used. Seems to me you feel good about paying a good rate when they leave everything in better shape than you anticipated. A low price doesn't seem like a victory if I'm stuck with a full day of getting the yard back in shape.

I'll be sure to call you when I need my next removal.

How did the BS cutting go? I put 3 tanks through the 372 doing blocking. A light hand is your friend when you have most of your 24" bar buried doing blocking. I really do like the 372. I just hope that 460 doesn't wink at me next time I'm in a Stihl store.
