that`s cool I remember Garlits selling used pistons ,all the time and garbage cans full off parts they would just tossJohn Force...got it at Norwalk Ohio a few years ago. Got a rod out of Courtney Forces funny car. My wife always wanted to go to Brainard Mn. For the race but we never got around to it.
Greg Anderson too met him here in Duluth he from here and brought his rig down for a few days for a visit with his family still here https://dragillustrated.com/greg-an...into-north-carolina-auto-racing-hall-of-fame/Pro stock really has never been same since Warren and Kurt Johnson bowed out...He used to ***** about everything
yes he was warrens crew chief MN boys ,ive talk with him at different local events beforeGreg is the modern version of Warren. I think he worked for him for a while. He can do some serious complaining. Makes it interesting.
good condenser suspect condenser went bad again probably age-related parts their old originals parts, but they tested good im losing faith in these relics model #666679 way toomany 6666`sok right back to squar one today saw ran great for maybe total of 20 minutes strong just cooking along and bam starts to shut off like it ran out of fuel or i hit the kill switch had plenty of fuel left and check the plug gold brown looking awesome, but it just shuts down it refired and shut down again
ok ill try it in morningdo a continuity check on the kill switch (without the wire on it) jiggle it up and down, on and off. I bunch of times and see if it wants to disconnect. and then do the same to the kill switch wire.
Alright, one thing at a time you ll find the problem unless it's a rouge coil bleeping out when it gets hot but I doubt it..check yah lateryou can also check the coil with that meter
we put the coil on a load tester for 15 minutes and it did fine ,my idea now is we needed to put the coil under load for 30 minutes and then see if it fails ,if it was a kill switch i would start again ot run again then shut off in 20 minutes or 10 minutes its also the second factory kill switch i used on this saw first was junk rivet broke in backyou can also check the coil with that meter
