I got my Homelite 5-30N done. I don't know if I want to do another one of these saws.
I found a Bow bar that was made for a 5-30 about 3 months ago.
Then It took awhile to find a 5-30. It needed parts. After
getting all the parts for it I started in restoring it. This saw took
longer to do then any others.
I planed on painting it original colors, but when I was painting the
black it would go dull and turn a dark gray after a half hour.
It was to cold and raining here for weeks. The red was hard enough
to get it to stay glossy. Has a custom chip guard made by
Paul [schudairy7-21]. :D

So I did it like this.

Last time I checked they were bid to over $100.:msp_w00t:

Bow saws are scary looking and absolutely beautiful machines. The restoration job on the 5-30 is outstanding. Im doing a half a&$ resto on one of my C51s but seriously doubt Ill post pictures after seeing that kind of work.
