Yes it is. Certainly not cheap but condition won me over.

Looked @ it a few times but I resisted cad this time plus I already have a 39 that's a good runner but not THAT nice, but my Poulan Pro 455 IS!!!

Sounds like the right stuff. Unleaded gas has no affect on it. I should have said Henkel owns Loctite, not Permatex.

On a side note, looked at a flyer at the bearing supply house today. Loctite blue is now out in a tape form. Very similar to a roll of teflon tape used for pipe joints but, threadlock for screws.

A set of bearings and seals for the P-41 came to 47 USD..................................Yikes.

Yikes is right. I hope you didn't get reamed on the seals. Just a reminder to you guys looking for seals for the large frame Pioneers, the Poulan seals for the Poulan/Pioneers (405/455/655 etc) are readily available for $3.26 ea PN 507428746. I put a set in the P51 and they are perfect.

This one came in last week, a good 3270SC. Paint is rough like every other Pioneer of this vintage, but the engine feels solid. I don't know this saw differs from the 3270 Super other than Pioneer finally did away with the fickle primer pump and went to the good ole' choke.

A fellow member, who knows of my love for this powerhead, pointed out the saw just at the same time I ran across it. Had to make sure I ended up with this Pioneer.

This saw makes 2 Supers and 1 SC, not to mention my 1560 gear drive.
